The NP5000 Series invert case packer is a fully automatic machine which can accommodate both drop pack (necks up) or invert pack (necks down) jobs. It is equipped with an industry leading 60” long, heavy duty carton elevator bed, capable of case packing up to six (6) independent cases per cycle (dependent on case and container size and pack specifications). This is accomplished with the use of custom-built change part grids, which can be easily swapped in and out of the grid loading section. Each change part grid is specifically designed to pack one or multiple different jobs, dependent on size, shape, and pack specifications. Change part grids sold separately.
The NP5000 can handle round and non-round glass containers of various sizes and materials for packing into all types of cases, such as corrugated trays, HSC, RSC, or tab-lock cases, to name a few.
The NP5000 is equipped with a carton flap opening system to open major and minor flaps. This allows for deeper case cell penetration for more quality critical jobs.
All of our invert packers are typically sold with a complete ware in-feed line that receives incoming ware from a single line into a Northpoint, NP200 Series ware lane channelizer. The NP200 is a stand-alone unit, which can also be sold separately. It receives and distributes ware from either a single lane or dual lanes into multiple ware lanes in a controlled and even manner to feed the lanes of the case packer.
